The Great Feast of London is a virtual food, music and wellness festival which took place over a weekend in July 2020. Whilst the live streaming was happening, we were also ensuring orders were being fulfilled and monitoring customer service enquiries.

"Dami worked on a hugely successful event for me The Bloggers Marketplace and she organised everything from the venue, to vendors, to the order of the day. Dami and her team were there from the morning of the event right to the end with an amazingly positive attitude of “Sure, no problem!”. Working with Dami was a highly pleasurable experience. She knew exactly what she was doing and was constantly on the ball. Dami has an excellent spirit and offers nothing but quality services. When it comes to fine tuning an event she’s the ultimate candidate for the job and the type of event coordinator I would use for every event going forward."

"Dami was an absolute gem. she surprised me in so many ways. I did not know anyone could be so proactive, organised, forward-thinking, juggle diverse tasks, be efficient with deadlines, and still keep it all cool. Easy to work with is an understatement. Brilliant is an understatement for the service I and the rest of the Girls Let's Talk SELF:I:E team received. Girls Let's Talk SELF:I:E would not be what it was without Dami. I am so grateful and cannot wait to work with her on further projects."

Share one tip you have for running a successful event.
With all the platforms I specialise in, it's important to familiarise yourself with it outside of the times you have events. Set up a test event, ask your friend to log in, send you screenshots of what they see, how different settings affect the views.
I say this because with virtual events it's really difficult to see how things look on the other side so to give you peace of mind schedule some sessions where you can play around with the software and settings before your practice run with the speakers!
What's an app, platform, or tech you think more event organizers should know about?
Clubhouse! I recently wrote an article about how the app can help you build communities which is important when driving attendee registrations. Check out Dami's article here: How Clubhouse Can Help Build Communities.
Anything else we should know?
We know it's a difficult time right now for all Event organisers but we'll be back to our 16 hour days and post event celebrations soon!
