Andrew Holcombe
Euclid Middle School, Band Teacher/Presenter

Andrew Holcombe in his tenth year of teaching and currently teaches band at guitar at Euclid Middle School in Littleton Public Schools. Before his time at Euclid, Andrew taught band for four years at Creighton Middle and the Lakewood Area Elementary Schools (grades 5-8) in Jefferson County, and started his teaching career with four years at University Schools in Greeley teaching band to grades 6-12. He received both his Bachelors (2012) and Masters (2016) Degrees from the University of Northern Colorado.

Andrew received the Phi Beta Mu "Outstanding Young Bandmaster" award in 2019, and in 2021 he was elected to be the CMEA District 1 Instrumental Music Representative. Andrew is also currently on the CBA Concert Band Committee. In his free time Andrew loves spending time with his wife and daughters (and their two cats), as well as cycling, playing music, hiking, seeing live performances and playing games.

Dylan Ford
Dakota Ridge High School, Director of Instrumental Music

Dylan Ford in his 9th year of teaching and currently teaches band and orchestra at Dakota Ridge High School in Jeffco Public Schools. Before his time at DRHS, Dylan taught band for four years at Central High School in Grand Junction, CO. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012.

Dylan is a member of CMEA, has served on the Colorado Bandmasters Association executive board as well as marching/concert band committees, and is the current State Chair for the Colorado chapter of the American School Band Director's Association. In his free time Dylan enjoys time with his wonderful family and friends.


It can be challenging to talk about how we feel and what we think, especially in our very public roles as music teachers. Our session is a friendly environment to start conversations about improving our mental health in a relatable way as musicians, teachers, and people.
