Allison Deitz, LCSW-C

Allison (she/her) earned her BA in Psychology from Winthrop University, MS in Evidence-Based Social Intervention from the University of Oxford, MSW from the University of Maryland – Baltimore (UMB), and began her social work PhD studies at UMB in 2020. Professionally, Allison was the case manager for a long-term residential agency serving adults who are survivors of domestic sex trafficking for five years. After graduating with her MSW and obtaining her licensure, she was hired as the social worker for a research project based out of the University of Maryland Treatment Center. In this role, Allison serves as a therapist and also assists patients in addressing needs like housing, identification, and social services applications. Allison’s particular interests are in the areas of chronic, complex trauma, self-care, and removing barriers to accessing needed supports.
