NFTs have opened up new ways of brand storytelling and consumer interaction; the two main pillars of an effective marketing strategy.
With NFTs, you can create unique brand experiences, increase brand awareness, encourage interaction, and create interest in your brand and product. In Web 3 brands will be built from the ground up with community ownership as a focus not an afterthought.
In this session, attendees will learn about Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) as they apply to driving innovation in small to large projects from an individual or corporate perspective. Attendees will be presented with some practical examples of the successful use of NFTs in starting up businesses i.e Bored Apes Yacht Club (BAYC), growing business i.e Christie's Auction House, Nike and Adidas as well as driving value back to consumers (a core ethos of Web 3.0). Attendees will also learn how to differentiate between low-effort and high-quality NFT projects as we all navigate this new paradigm.
The Bored Ape is called Metaphrase BAYC #8754

*** THIS SESSION IS BY INVITATION. FOR SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN ONLY ***
This will be a creative writing workshop aimed at children. We are specifically looking to address the lack of African authors and stories out there and accessibility to those stories.
Sharing our unique stories and seeing others who look like us in the media fosters a sense of belonging and connection that’s vital for us to feel included, appreciated and validated.
Right now we are looking at an African creative renaissance and it is important that we do not leave the children, our future, out of the movement. By sharing with them the skills and techniques of creative writing, we give birth to more thought narrative in this direction. We are empowering the next generation to dream about possibilities they may not have entertained or felt entitled to.
To grow this industry, we need more people with the skills. Let's lay the strong foundation now. It is time.

Largely across Africa inclusivity is not a priority, often entire communities are marginalized and discriminated against based on their tribe, gender, disability, age, and economic status. Today, the world has realised the importance of inclusion in the workplace and the community at large. However, Africa is still lagging behind in inclusive practices. The panel discussion will look at the use of technology to close the gap.
Our discussion will focus on:
The use of technology in the workplace to ensure that everyone has carried along especially the disability community
The use of digital tools in education to reach a larger number of unschooled children and aid learning for students with disability
The use of digital tools to tell inclusive African stories to foster an inclusive community
At the end of the discussion:
CEOs and Human Resources Managers will discover different digital tools to foster inclusion in the work place.
Technology innovators will see opportunities in creating digital tools to promote inclusive learning.
Creatives will understand the importance and benefits of telling inclusive stories.
