Verkout, FounderDamon Clinkscales loves to help others along their path by sharing what he's learned, making connections, and building community.
Damon is an Engineering Manager at HEB Digital, when not hiding from COVID, operates out of the Eastside Tech Hub in East Austin.
Since 2005, he founded and cultivated Austin on Rails, Austin Open Coffee Club (entrepreneurs and investors meet over coffee), and Cafe Bedouins (a weekly hack night). He currently serves as a mentor to Techstars Austin and Techstars Impact and mentored entrepreneurial students in UT's Longhorn Startup Lab for 6 years.
He helped launch FounderDating's Austin chapter, a Silicon Valley company focused on co-founder matching, by serving as Managing Director for 2012-2014. In 2017, Damon took over as Chapter Director of Startup Grind Austin, which is part of a global entrepreneurial community, originating in Silicon Valley over a decade ago.
