"Rachel Downey is a long-time entrepreneur who has always done things a little bit differently. She started her first company, Guide Studio, at age 25, growing it into a million dollar+ success of her own design. This experience, filled with twists and turns, allowed her to hone her business survival skills with a sharp focus on intentional growth and an ability to define creative, visionary solutions to business and personal challenges.
One of Rachel’s more recent challenges was to exit her company, Guide Studio, in order to move from Cleveland to Denver. After implementing EOS®/Traction at Guide, she was able to withdrawal from the day-to-day operations of the company and leave it to run itself with a strong leadership team at the helm. She still owns the company 100%.
Leveraging her professional adventures, she now operates as Rachel Downey, Business Guide, the business consultant for Wayward Entrepreneurs*. Under Rachel Downey, Business Guide, she helps leadership teams implement EOS®/Traction and advises businesses on best practices to help entrepreneurs build a business they love that serves their life.
Rachel is a 9-year member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), and trains entrepreneurs through EO’s Accelerator Program.
Now settled in Littleton, CO, Rachel and her husband and son enjoy skiing, backpacking, travel, and the abundant sunshine of the state of Colorado.
*Wayward Entrepreneur = the business owner who is rebellious, capricious, and innovative; a rule-breaker and risk-taker; susceptible to breaking from the known path"
