BMoCA’s Instagram Live Virtual Studio Tours are a 30 min interactive program that explores local contemporary artist studios. Join BMoCA and featured architect and artist Aaron Jones for a special edition of BMoCA’s Instagram Live Virtual Studio Tours. Viewers go behind the scenes of Jones’ studio practice with insights into his processes, inspirations and work. Moderated by BMoCA’s Community Engagement and Events Coordinator, this tour will give viewers the opportunity to take a closer look at art/ architectural practices and ask questions.

Aaron Jones is a registered architect working in Detroit, MI.
Aaron runs an experimental architecture studio concerned primarily with the research and development of media structures. This work often results in pop-up theaters, performance art installations, and entertainment portals which are in collaboration with leading creative professionals and organizations around the world. The studio looks at the opportunities between content and infrastructure especially as they reveal and expand audience types.
A native of Denver, CO, Kiah graduated from the University of Colorado Denver, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Production. She presented several films on the international film festival circuit and worked closely with the Denver International Film Festival. Kiah lived in Chile for several years following, developing her Spanish skills and working as an English professor. She served as a curatorial intern for Black Cube Nomadic Contemporary Art Museum in Denver prior to joining the BMoCA staff in 2017. Kiah is an active member within the Colorado art scene, creating and working with new media and film.
