Erick Mueller
CU Boulder, Executive Director & Adjunct Professor, Deming Center For Entrepreneurship

Erick Mueller has helped businesses grow throughout his career. He started his career with DOT First Aid & Safety where he was promoted from a student intern to Vice President. He helped the organization grow from $2.2 million in annual sales to over $5 million in two years. Fresh from this experience, he founded Vision Co., a corporate training and consulting organization. As CEO and President, he grew the business to over $300,000 in annual revenue. Mueller then co-founded and was Vice President of Sales for, an interactive Web service. He created the new selling process and led its growth to over 10,000 customers.

Mueller also co-founded Real Measure and EyeThink Corp., computer-based instrumentation businesses. He successfully negotiated and sold EyeThink Corp. to a Fortune 50 company. Currently, Mueller is Chairman and co-founder of Funovation, which creates heart-pounding addictive attractions that require brain and brawn. He has led the company from an idea to over 180 locations throughout 21 countries. Funovation has been awarded a Top Colorado Company to Watch and a Top Boulder County Company.

In addition, Mueller is an award winning Adjunct Professor and Director of the Cross Campus Entrepreneurship Program at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he has been rated by students among the top MBA instructors. He leads a Global Seminar each summer, Entrepreneurship & Empowerment in South Africa, helping disadvantaged businesses in the Townships. Mueller also helps with the Veterans Entrepreneurship Program, helping disabled military veterans start businesses.

A few years ago, Mueller developed The Tour de Happiness, a documentary exploring happiness. He also traveled to New Zealand and Australia, which included an appointment as Entrepreneur in Residence at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Michigan University and holds an MBA magna cum laude from The University of Colorado Boulder.

Wendell Pryor
Chaffee County Economic Development Corporation, Director

Wendell Pryor is a Colorado native and currently the Director of the Chaffee County Economic Development Corporation. He has been an Adjunct Professor/Lecturer with the University Of Colorado School Of Public Affairs, and Senior Fellow for Diversity and Inclusion; he also taught in the California State University System. He retired as the State of Colorado Civil Rights Director, is a former lobbyist, and a social entrepreneur. He served as the Chair of the Foundation Board (now Next 50) and a member of the Board of Directors for Innovage, a senior care organization. He was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper as a Trustee for Adams State Colorado University.

Regarding past employment, Wendell worked in State government for the Department of Labor and Employment, and Personnel, and has served as the Human Resources Director for the following local governments, City and County of San Francisco; City of Oakland, California; City of Riverside, California; Aurora, Colorado; and Acting Director of the Denver Career Service Authority. He was the Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Public Employees when he returned from California. Mr. Pryor Co-Chaired the Administration Transition Team under Governor Elect Ritter. He has a law degree from the University of Denver, Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, and undergraduate degree from Western State Colorado University.

Quinlan Bleichman
Middle School Student, 6th Grader

I have created bake sales and lemonade stands for the last three years. I play soccer for FC Boulder, ski in the winter and like to run too. I also love to draw and write.

Rohan D. Baishya is a Boettcher Scholar with experience in Technology and Business Development roles at companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. Academically, Rohan has an interest in research, including a comprehensive investigation on the roles of competence versus charisma in leadership, as well as a study centered around reducing bias in racial vision classification systems through experimenting with generality and specificity of taxonomies.
As a Scrum Master and Technology Development Intern at Optum (a UnitedHealth Group company), Rohan had his company-wide hackathon-winning product patented: an avatar-based wearable application to help people with chronic conditions better manage their health. He also completed an honorary business development internship living and working with the CEO of Credence Management Solutions LLC after winning their Elevator Pitch competition in Las Vegas the previous summer.
Being colorblind, Rohan struggled matching clothes for years. He wanted a personal stylist more than anything growing up, and today, he's developing one! PAIR is an artificially intelligent personal stylist coming soon to the App Store and Google Play Store; for more information on the PAIR app, and to get early access to their beta free of cost, feel free to visit PAIR was a New Venture Challenge semifinalist venture and has been extended an offer to join Catalyze CU, a Boulder-based accelerator, contingent on the program not being cancelled in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today, Rohan continues to use his plethora of software and business experience to bring you an unprecedented virtual style experience, while pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science as an Engineering Honors student, and minors in Business, Engineering Leadership, and Engineering Management & Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is an active member of the Boulder and CU entrepreneurial community through his work as a member of the Innovation Action Team at CU, and is on a mission to democratize fashion through AI and Machine Learning through his company PAIR Virtual Stylist LLC.

My name is Ava Schuler and I am 16 years old and from Louisville, Colorado. I am currently a Sophomore at Monarch High School in Louisville and plan to graduate in the spring of 2022. I live with my parents, older sister and twin brother. I have been playing competitive soccer since I was five years old and was recently awarded Offensive Player of the Year for my high school team. I love to be in the kitchen and cook and see what new foods I can make. I am also apart of Monarch DECA and most recently went to DECA State in Colorado Springs. Also prior to cancellation due to COVID-19 I was awarded a spot to attend ICDC (DECA Nationals) in Nashville, Tennessee to attend a leadership program.
