This workshop will help you see yourself and others in new ways. We’ll dig into the language of curiosity and tactical ways you can be more attuned to what others are feeling, connect with them more genuinely, and make better human connections. Learn to see past “I’m fine” as an auto-response and engage with unseen context of what’s really going on underneath.
Get Curious: How to Move Beyond your Reactions, First Impressions, and Snap Judgments
I aspire to help founders through their startups live their best lives, do their best work, and in the process, build great companies. Over my career, I've worked closely with and invested in more than seventy early-stage companies through her five years working at Techstars Boulder and as an Entrepreneur in Residence for the Telluride Venture Accelerator. My career has led to roles as a leadership coach, a facilitator, and a COO. I have extensive training in Conscious Leadership and lean startup principles and work to integrate those principles into my daily life and investing.
Kim West (JD, MBA) is the founder of a company called Navigating the Knot. She works as a consultant and coach specializing in the marriage and divorce process, which means she provides clients nationwide with clarity and guidance on either end of marriage – from educating them on what they need to know before getting married to advising those approaching, going through, or looking to recover from divorce.
Kim has a law degree from the University of Colorado, comes from a corporate background (having worked for companies like Fitbit and Zayo Group), and started her company after going through a rough divorce herself in order to provide support to others surrounding marriage and divorce. She offers one-on-one coaching services to clients nationwide via phone, Skype, or Zoom video calls.
When she isn't assisting clients, Kim enjoys rock climbing, running, hiking, snowboarding, and mountain biking. She loves to travel, spend time with her dog (a puggle named Clover), and forge new connections.
