This facilitated community-conversation will crowd-source and explore the multiple meanings and experiences of failure across diverse cultural contexts. Themes ranging from failing forward and productive failure to dominant narratives about failure will seed our conversation centered on the question, "who gets to fail?" in innovative and entrepreneurial spaces.

Failure for You is Not the Same as Failure for Me
Jacie is a life-long academic who has spent her career at the intersection of technology and pedagogy as a consultant, project manager, program manager, and most recently the lead facilitator for a group of academic innovators.
After 20+ years serving in the nonprofit and social impact sector, Blair is now stewarding a three-year pilot innovation incubator in the college of Arts & Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder. Blair is also a current member of the board of directors at the local nonprofit, Boulder Food Rescue.
