Dom Gaitan is the Director of Logistics Strategic Business Development at Leaflink, inc. a B2B marketplace that connects 8,100+ retailers and 3,400+ brands and distributors for streamlined cannabis commerce.
Our mission at Leaflink, is to provide growing cannabis businesses with the tools and support they need to manage their businesses more effectively and accelerate growth. By virtualizing the cannabis supply chain and reducing friction in the way product is cultivated, manufactured and distributed, Leaflink is defining the way our customers run their businesses, enabling our partners to focus on making great products and designing great retail customer experiences.
Prior to joining Leaflink, Dom worked as CTO/CRO for the cannabis industries first licensed B2B cannabis transport company GPS Transportation LLC. Dom's experience in global financial services at Dell inc, and his time spent building and supporting frontend data analytics for Amazon/AWS operational and sales teams, helped him recognize how creating action driven insights from financial, operational, and seed to sale datasets could help accelerate revenue growth for cannabis brands. Taking this insight, Dom helped GPS become an approved METRC integrator, and built order management and business intelligence tools that reduced the operational burden required to deliver product compliantly and helped brands visualize where to allocate their GTM efforts. Dom now uses his finance, operation, and cannabis seed to sale technology development experience at Leaflink, to source strategic partners who enable frictionless commerce and create efficient and equitable market opportunities.
Dom has B.A in Sociology and an MBA - Finance from Chapman University's Argyros School of Business and Economics. Along with his work at Leaflink, Dom mentors MBA candidates at Chapman University.
