Cole Gibbs
Dama Distributing, Founder & CEO

After seeing all of the single use plastic waste being created by the cannabis and hemp industries, with no solution in sight. Cole Gibbs decided to start Dama Distributing to pioneer the development of sustainable hemp plastic and compliant packaging solutions for the cannabis and hemp industries. At Dama they care about the world we live in, and strive to make the world a better place for us all. With only 9% of all plastic recycled worldwide, the plastic waste problem is growing out of control. That’s why Dama Distributing is on a mission to eliminate single use plastic waste from the cannabis and hemp industries, by offering truly sustainable packaging solutions for everything from seed to concentrates. So the cannabis and hemp industries do not drown themselves in plastic.

Together we end plastic pollution.

Plastic waste and pollution have become a major problem for our world. With plastic recycling maxing out at only 9% and major companies closing their recycling plants across the country, we clearly need to do something different. This starts with eliminating single use plastic, which has been done already in several different business sectors. From cutlery and straws to take out boxes and plastic bag bans - we need to stop talking about recycling, and start implementing it. This panel will feature both brands and packaging companies as they discuss the current options and challenges with sustainable packaging.
