Perry is currently the Director of Emerging Music Partnerships at Meta (Instagram/Facebook) where he leads a strategy and partnerships team responsible for creating first-ever opportunities & solutions for established and emerging artists, record labels, and users to best utilize recorded music to enhance their story-telling experiences, stay safe on the platform, and leverage products and platforms to connect with fans & communities in authentic & unique ways.
Prior to joining Meta, Bashkoff spent 19 years at Warner Music Group leading the Global Digital Account Management growth strategy and execution for several digital businesses including downloads, mobile ringtones, streaming subscriptions, and digital ad-sales. He was the global lead for Spotify and YouTube and established and managed the creative original content team that evolved content strategy and generating new IP through original programming.
Bashkoff was recently named to the 2022 Billboard Power Players List, one of Billboard Magazine's Digital Power Players in 2018 & 2019, one of Billboard Magazine's “30 Under 30” (2008), and one of the Top Mobile Music Executives (2007). He held a seat on the Music Biz Board of Directors, and was a member of the 2020 Music Marketing Jury for The Clio Awards.
