5. Latin Music Song Screening with Warner Chappell Music

Lazaro Hernandez is Vice President of A&R at Warner Chappell Music for U.S. Latin & Latin America. He’s signed some of today’s biggest songwriters and artists including breakout stars Jhay Cortez & Lunay, multi-platinum songwriter and producer Cromo X,  Federico Vindver (Kayne West, Coldplay), and Colombian DJ and producer Víctor Cárdenas ("Pepas").  

Most recently, he signed multi-platinum superstar Ally Brooke (former member of the girl group Fifth Harmony) and world-renowned regional Mexican superstars like Gerardo Ortiz and Joss Favela. Throughout his 14 years at Warner Chappell Music, Hernandez has also worked with and developed some of the world’s top-tier artists, producers, and writers like Rauw Alejandro, Chris Jeday, Jon Leone, Andres Torres & Mauricio Rengifo. Internationally, Hernandez plays a crucial role in fostering collaborations between Latin songwriters and multicultural songwriters from around the globe. He has been named to Billboard’s prestigious 40 Under 40 list and Pride list, which celebrates industry-shaping LGBTQ executives. Hernandez graduated from Florida International University’s College of Business Administration in 2007 with a degree in International Business Administration.
