Thomas Pommier

Within the Office of Resilience & Sustainability, Thomas serves as coordinator for the implementation of the Houston Climate Action Plan. His duties include developing strategic initiatives and coordinating collaborations with corporate and government partners, community organizations, and academia.
Prior to joining the Office of Sustainability, Thomas was embedded in the Mayor’s Office of Trade and International Affairs, overseeing the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP), an association of 19 leading energy cities across 15 countries that are committed to fostering the transition to a more sustainable energy future.He graduated from Université Paris-Sud XI with a Master in Political Science, and is fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian.
