Senior Director Gas Solutions

Richard Lujan oversees the Gas Delivery strategy at CPS Energy. He is responsible for designing, constructing and operating natural gas operations.

Richard previously served as Director of the Northwest Service District. In that role he oversaw construction and maintenance of CPS Energy's electric distribution assets, including Overhead Distribution, Service & Meter, Underground Residential Distribution, and Underground Electric Distribution.

Richard is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Trinity University.

For example, a landfill, typically the embodiment of a community’s waste, is the source of a creative new fuel supply partnership between CPS Energy and VIA, San Antonio’s public transit authority. In this session, CPS and VIA will discuss their partnership and how it helps improve the environment while providing affordable and reliable service to the community.
