Amber Corrin leads Sage Communications' Public Relations content strategy and development efforts, overseeing the creation of multimedia content that is strategic, impactful and tells the stories most meaningful to clients and their target audiences. Amber has spent her career delivering consequential stories—including as a 16-year veteran journalist specializing in defense technology and policy, intelligence, federal IT and government contracting/acquisition. Prior to joining Sage, Amber served as the editor of Federal Times; she previously was the editor of C4ISRNET after working as a reporter for both publications as well as Federal Computer Week.
Amber currently focuses on content strategy and development for a range of clients, media and platforms, establishing and ensuring continuity of voice, messaging, audience-targeting and strategic communications. Her clients have spanned markets and verticals, including support for AT&T, Salesforce, BlackSky, Cloudera, Crystal Group, ScienceLogic, Envistacom, Splunk, Fortinet, Iron Bow, Lookout, NVIDIA and others.
Outside of her day-to-day work, Amber is helping spearhead diversity, equality and inclusion efforts at Sage and beyond, heading up internal and pro-bono activities in support of DE&I goals. She is an award-winning writer and editor, having received honors from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, the Society of Professional Journalists and her alma mater, West Virginia University, where she served as editor in chief of The Daily Athenaeum. She previously was a Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellow at the National Press Foundation and has been named as one of Huffington Post’s Top Technologists on Twitter.
