Blake Davenport
The Davenport Group, CEO

Blake is the founder and head of The Davenport Group, a small real estate team in the DC Metro area. He was a former Industrial Engineer at IBM who decided the corporate life wasn’t for him. Since leaving IBM four years ago, Blake and his wife, Leah, grew their real estate company, The Davenport Group, to a team of 11 members and $55 Million in Sales in 2021. Blake is also a co-founder of Discover Arlington, a resource dedicated to help people learn about the great spots in Arlington, Virginia and to educate them on the important specifics within buying and selling real estate. Through Discover Arlington, Blake and Leah, host various community events ranging from large fitness + wellness festival to yappy hours at the Ballston Quarter. Besides helping clients, Blake and Leah are in the process of building their AirBnb portfolio with their newest addition of their Shenandoah home in September 2021. They plan on acquiring 2-4 properties a year over the next several years to build more passive income.

Neil Shah is CEO and co-founder at ThinkNimble and was an executive at exited startup, Aspire. Neil is an experienced developer and entrepreneur, founding a student-led entrepreneurship incubator during his days at Georgetown and never stopping since. Neil works as acting CTO for many startups through ThinkNimble and helps founders scope their tech builds and plan their fundraising strategy alongside a strong product plan.

Joshua D’Angelo is a doctor of physical therapy and board certified orthopedic specialist who has co-founded and directed global organizations centered around improving access to healthcare and innovating healthcare delivery. Dr. D’Angelo co-founded MovementX, a movement health platform bringing together the best physical therapy providers to deliver the best quality treatment. MovementX’s mission is to help people move their best, so they can live their best. Dr. D’Angelo has served as delegate in the DC Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), as president of APTA’s Student Assembly, which represents over 25,000 physical therapy and physical therapist assistant students, and as the chair of APTA’s New Professionals Committee. In 2018, Dr. D’Angelo received APTA’s Societal Impact Award and George Washington University’s Distinguished Young Alumni Award. He is a previous recipient of the George Washington University’s George Washington Award and APTA’s Mary McMillan Scholarship, named after the physical therapy profession’s founder. Dr. D’Angelo has spoken nationally and internationally on physical therapy, leadership, and global health. He currently serves as CEO of MovementX and on the Alumni Council of the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan.
