Steve Winter

Steve Winter brings to this panel more than 40 years of industry experience and an entrepreneurial spirit honed from years of running his own agencies – first Winter•Fried Communications, later Brotman•Winter•Fried (BWF) which is now a division of Sage Communications, for which he jointly serves as a Senior Vice President. Along the way, he developed expertise in various communication disciplines including journalism, media relations, community outreach, special event management and promotion, grassroots marketing, creative design and production, audio and video direction, media buying and placement and social media. His subject matter expertise ranges from sports and entertainment, restaurants, retail and consumer shows to technology clients, new product launches, even local and federal government agencies. A member of various charity boards, chambers of commerce and local networking groupsand an Adjunct Professor of Public Relations at Georgetown University, Steve is a graduate of American University with a degree in journalism.
