OPEN TALK: Driving Collaboration across Distributed Teams
Jarom Chung is a data-driven biologist turned product leader. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Jarom inspires product development teams to think critically and creatively to deliver superior customer experiences. Leaning on his analytical background, he pushes his teams to incorporate user research and product data into every decision they make.
Jarom earned a BS in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University. Prior to moving into tech, Jarom was a consultant for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. At Lucid, he spent several years leading product analytics and is currently the Director of Product, overseeing six development teams that cover collaboration, engagement and virality for Lucid’s suite of products.
When Jarom is not managing sprints and epics, he enjoys spending time with his family and teaching his two daughters the basics of cell biology. He also co-hosts a talk show at Lucid called “The Oatmeal” that draws 200 live viewers each week.
