Clit Kat
Talent

Bio: Generations of this group have existed. However, as time pushes forward, new faces emerge to carry the torch of Clit Kat, which blazes hotter than ever.  Band casualties Dom and Mr. Thick asked guidance from the north winds. In an effort stronger than the hand of Bathsheba, the winds blew messages into the dm’s of Doom Dick, Lyne Syx Spydyr III, and Bug Boy. Outsiders, non the less, warriors.  In order for the Quintet to be a completed cabal, the outsiders must be approved by the Kat of Clit.  The Kat glared into the eyes of the boys and asked the question that would soon set the world aflame. “Do you wanna party?” and slowly with eyes of intent and the future flashing before them, they responded “yeh.”  Now here we are fulfilling the og promise.

Bio: SPEED OF LIGHT are siblings from Santa Monica, California. Inspired by everything from 70s Punk to Desert Rock, this power trio (17, 15 and 13) plays hard-hitting garage rock with a healthy side of punk. With Cameron's 70s-style guitar riffs, Tyler's thundering drums, and Riley's banshee howl, this LA. band has rocked the SoCal area and beyond with their original sound, carving their own path with no apologies, no looking back, and nothing but open road ahead.

Broken Baby
Talent

Donate: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/bandsinabarbershop

Bio: Broken Baby is here to raise hell, and they’re gonna take you with them. They’re not riffy, yet they are. They’re not glam, yet they are (or at least front-woman Amber Bollinger certainly is). They’re not catchy, yet they totally are. Trying to figure out what the LA-based duo is would be an exercise in futility, were it not so much fun trying to pin them down. Because the truth is, Broken Baby wants you to try and pin them down. They invite you into their songs with riffs and glam and pop, only to toss you into the scorching inferno of their devilishly charming kiln of quirk and keen lyrical wit, pushing muscular freneticism to the boundaries of post-punk modern rock. With the constant churn of their song machine, not to mention the band's absolutely blistering live performances, Broken Baby is a modern-day rock juggernaut built for the new DIY ethos of our time.

Modpods
Talent

Merch: https://modpods.bandcamp.com/merch

Bio: ModPods is a post-punk, dance trio fronted by Myriad Slits. Their sound is controlled chaos of electronic beats, deep driving bass, effected guitar, and hard-hitting drums. Mindee Jorgensen and Daniel Guzman trade instruments to create a gritty soundscape to compliment Myriad’s fierce vocals and cutting lyrics.

Fartbarf
Talent

Bio: We begin in the year 2008 with Josh, Dan and Brian. Three unassuming, well mannered and fun-loving fellows from a town near the sea. Regressed, mutated and collectively known as Fartbarf, they somehow bring us all into the future, captivating audiences with relentless melodies, robotically tight rhythms, and danceable beats by use of a strict limitation of tools at hand; vintage analog synthesizers, vocoders, drum machines, analog modular systems, and live drums.

Trap Girl
Talent

Bio: "The Los Angeles based hardcore punk band Trap Girl was formed in 2014. Trap Girl's music is loud, gritty, impulsive, and powerful. It's also beautiful, like gold chiffon covered in blood, dirt, and glass. It shimmers and it cuts. Sometimes it's messy. It f**cks you up all while giving you life. Trap Girl threatens to kill rapists, protect women and look good doing it. Trap Girl is at the center of the queercore music movement and lives the legacy of classic L.A. hardcore punk greats like The Germs and The Bags while breathing confrontational new life into the old punk formula. They're bringing new visibility to what it is to be trans, big, brown, and glamorous and pissed off in Los Angeles." - Candace Hanson, Razorcake Magazine
