About the speaker:

Lindsay Coward, MPH, is a Worksite Wellness Provider and Yoga Instructor living in Asheville, NC with her husband and two children. After being overworked in the corporate realm, Lindsay found herself depleted and un-well in mind and body and so turned to yoga for relief. Through this experience, Lindsay felt led to bring yoga and wellness to the workplace to boost mental clarity, manage stress, improve mind-body connection plus team connection, and provide tools for work-life balance. Lindsay founded Yoga Nut, a wellness company that provides worksite wellness programs and on-demand yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Her mission is to help working adults and busy caregivers live well - at work and in life. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys nature, eating locally, and playing with her kids. 

Session description:

Feeling like there are always a million things to accomplish and only so much time in the day? What if your work didn’t feel like that? What if you had tools in place to help you stress less AND stay productive. During this interactive session, you will learn about stress, what it is, why it affects each of us differently, and identify your work-related stressors. You’ll walk away with a simple breathwork practice for activating the parasympathetic nervous system as well as tools for mitigating your daily work stress. Join this workshop to start stressing less and enjoying more!
