About the Organizer:

John Hornsby is the Founder and Chief Creative Director of Hornsby Creative. Throughout his 25 year career, he has served in leadership for various creative companies. He has rarely held a traditional job, always finding his way into unique situations. These have included running a DIY performance space, playing in bands while running the art department for a special events company, driving an RV around the country marketing Medicare with his wife, managing multiple signs and graphics companies. 

John is also a founding board member of AIGA Asheville, the professional association for design, and is part of the team for CreativeMornings Asheville. 

Most recently, he and his wife launched Connection Kits, a service that curates mailed kits that bring the tactile connection back into the world of virtual events. John is also the lead organizer for Freelance Business Week Asheville.
