Matt Luettgen is a master’s student in Computational Linguistics at Indiana University. He is currently studying Abusive Language Detection and Multilingual Parsing. In 2019, he participated in a project that aimed to use eye tracking and subtle gaze guidance to improve the comprehension of Deaf and Hard of Hearing users of video lectures. He also minored in Japanese and is striving to become fluent. In the future, Matt Luettgen hopes to work within the DoD, particularly in opportunities relating to computational linguistics or that are located in Japan.

Nicholas Cali

Nicholas is a cybersecurity major from New Jersey. The original reason for his major choice was to work for the FBI or any other national security agency. However, he has also always been interested in a career with the military. Nicholas is the first in his family to attend a 4 year school. He has always wanted to help the less fortunate.

Alfonso Acosta
X-Force, Fellow

Alfonso is currently an undergraduate student senior at San Diego State University. Alfonso is a member of SDSU's SPACE Lab and Rocket Project. He hopes to work in the Space Industry under navigation, controls, or even data analysis.

The X-Force Fellowship program is an opportunity for technologists and entrepreneurs to serve their country by solving real-world national security problems in collaboration with the U.S. military.

Join this session to hear four talented X-Force Fellowship teams present the solutions that they developed for DoD customers — and learn more about the program that made it possible.
