The human gut microbiome is pivotal in human health and disease. This talk will cover how fermented foods may benefit our health by modulating our gut microbiome.
Fermented Food & Human Gut Microbiome
Hannah has a PhD from the Bioengineering Department of Stanford University. Her research interest lies in studying the microbiome and how it relates to the immune system in human studies through machine learning and statistical methods. Hannah’s broad interest lies in engineering a computational framework that relates complex systems and generates testable hypotheses that move towards effective, accessible, and affordable treatment for immune related diseases.
