A gaming industry veteran with 18 years experience, Gabby Dizon was part of the team that released the first Filipino-made PC game in 2003, Anito, and in 2014, he established his own gaming company, Altitude Games.

In 2018, he became an avid Axie Infinity player and breeder after meeting Sky Mavis co-founder, Jeffrey “Jiho” Zirlin, at a Manila gaming event. This sparked Gabby’s interest in developing blockchain games, and later that year, he released a blockchain arcade racing game on Decentraland called Battle Racers.

In October 2020, as part of their mission of onboarding millions of people to the play-to-earn revolution, Gabby established Yield Guild Games (YGG) along with co-founders Beryl Li and Owl of Moistness. The decentralized gaming guild has since raised $20M+ from world-leading VCs including a16z, BITKRAFT, gumi Cryptos Capital and Delphi Digital.

Gabby is a board member of the Blockchain Game Alliance and an active investor in various projects in the NFT and crypto space.
