Franco is a senior business and marketing executive with proven success in managing entertainment businesses, building global brands. and driving digital innovation. 

Strategic and enthusiastic about the future of gaming and entertainment, he's led brand and marketing for Nintendo, DreamWorks, 20th Century Fox, Sony PlayStation, and most recently, Facebook Gaming

Franco De Cesare is currently the Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer of Emerge, a company focused on creating a platform for true virtual interpersonal connections, using a proprietary consumer device (which uses ultrasound to create force fields) to add tactility to digital shared environments. 

Previously Franco served as the Director of Global Gaming at Facebook, where he established the Console and Cross-Platform Gaming vertical, leading to the launch of Facebook Gaming. 

Prior to joining Facebook, Franco was the Head of Platform Marketing at PlayStation, where he was responsible for Brand Marketing, Product Planning and Portfolio Management for the PlayStation 4 Platform, which brought the PlayStation brand back to #1 position in Gaming. He led the go-to-market strategy and execution, for the PlayStation 4 launch in North America, the most successful console launch in history, as well as the launch of PSVR..

Franco is a veteran marketer, having held senior positions at a number of well-known brands across the Entertainment, Gaming and CPG industries—including CMO of EuropaCorp; SVP of Marketing at 20th Century Fox; Head of International Marketing at DreamWorks; European Marketing Director for Nintendo; and International Brand Manager at Unilever.

Franco sits on the Board of Governors for PromaxGAMES, he is a Mentor and Guest Lecturer on the Gaming Industry at USC Marshall School of Business, and holds an MBA in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome, from which he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Gary Yamamoto
Finch Technologies, CEO and Co-Founder

Gary Yamamoto is the CEO and Co-founder of Finch Technologies, a deep tech company that is using proprietary technology to link human-machine interfaces for augmented and virtual reality applications.  An engineer from UC Berkeley, Gary has spent 30+ years solving complex challenges for multi-national companies, overseeing international operations, manufacturing, and business development. At Finch, Gary leads corporate strategy and strategic partnerships and is a champion of opening the “player”-field by offering low-cost, freedom of movement in AR and VR. 

Prior to Finch, Gary founded Yamamoto Consulting, a firm that specialized in international business and helped large scale companies with technical challenges, business growth and mergers and acquisitions. Gary was also CEO of Borets International, a leading global Electrical Submersible Pump company and enjoyed a 20-year career with Schlumberger, a leading oil field service company where he was a prominent investor relations manager and was instrumental in creating and implementing a successful billion-dollar, 5-year growth strategy.

Gary lives in Berkeley, CA and serves on the board of HMS PLC.

Charlie Fink
XR Consultant, Author & Columnist

Charlie Fink is a Forbes columnist and the author of a new book, "Remote Collaboration, Virtual Conferences and the Future of Work" (May 2020), and the critically acclaimed AR-enabled books "Charlie Fink's Metaverse" (2017), and "Convergence, How The World Will Be Painted With Data" (2019). He teaches XR at Chapman University Film School in Orange, California. 

Fink is a consultant to some of the leading companies in the XR (AR/VR) world. As a 28-year-old junior executive at Disney, Fink famously came up with the idea for "The Lion King." In the 1990s, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of VR pioneer, Virtual World Entertainment. Variety calls him “XR’s explainer-in-chief.”

In addition to his work as head of story development for Disney Feature Animation during Disney’s second golden age of animation (1985-1992), Fink was Senior Vice President & Chief Creative Officer of AOL Studios (1995-1999), and President of American Greetings Interactive and Blue Mountain (2000-2004). His past experience includes successful exits from several startups.
