Senior Market Research Analyst

Jaclyn works with entrepreneurs in Northeast Ohio to validate product and target market assumptions across varied industries and technologies. She assists entrepreneurs in planning and conducting both primary and secondary market research, and works closely with internal stakeholders across the organization as well as external customers, clients, and partners to understand, document, and analyze data.

Jaclyn joined the team in June 2015. Prior to JumpStart, she spent nearly four years honing her skills in market research and data analysis at leading industry research firm The Freedonia Group, where she prepared research reports for clients related to a variety of industrial and consumer products. She also spent time as an independent contractor for a consulting firm, where she conducted qualitative phone interviews with customers of clients and learned the do’s and don’ts of conducting effective customer interviews.

Jaclyn was born and raised in the Cleveland area, and enjoys supporting the region’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. She holds a BBA in marketing from Cleveland State University.
