Madhuri Bobba

Madhuri Bobba is Sr. Executive Medical Director with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. She attended medical school at Guntur Medical College in India and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY. She has practiced as a community primary care provider, Intensivist, Hospitalist, Extensivist, and served as a Physician leader for 14 years. She has chaired multiple interdisciplinary committees and led projects to improve healthcare quality and safety in the hospital and post-acute and long-term care facilities prior to joining BCBSTX in 2013. As a leader in Clinical Operations at BCBSTX, she is responsible for the implementation of care management programs that facilitate high quality affordable, accessible, equitable, and patient-centered health care. She supports Holistic Health Management, Utilization Management, Quality Improvement programs, Provider Credentialing, Provider and Member Communications, and Network Strategies to promote the right care at the right place and time. She collaborates with Health Data Exchange and Data Analytics team to identify opportunities for care coordination, value-based care, and to improve provider and patient experience.
