No one has to tell us about the impact that our events have; we know for certain that we are leaving behind remarkable footprints and legacies. But when it comes to tracking and translating that impact and explaining it to others - sponsors, cities and other key stakeholders - we haven't yet found a common and accepted way of doing that. The International Association of Event Hosts (IAEH), with input from partner organizations around the world, has tried to create that common ground through a set of what they hope will become globally-accepted event impact standards. Come share some valuable time with IAEH Director Iain Edmondson as he walks us through them.
