As an event producer you don’t often look at the worst neighborhood in your City, a space where the police don’t walk around at night and say this is where I will host events 64 times a year until it turns around. Well that is exactly what the City of Santa Clarita, the third largest city in Los Angeles County with just over 250,000 residents did. In this session our speakers will discuss how to change the dialogue and use events to promote redevelopment, bring in new business and how to truly effect change through events.
