Michelle Nieviadomy received the 2013 Esquao Award Clara Woodbridge Community Involvement for her work within the Indigenous community in Edmonton. As the Assistant Director at the Edmonton Native Healing Centre, Michelle has found innovative and creative ways to fuse her passion for community development with the urban Indigenous community. She is engaged in various community initiatives, as well as being an entrepreneur leading Iskwew Health. Michelle is a member of the Kawacatoose First Nation in Saskatchewan.
