Who can participate?
The Power Pitch competition is open to Itron partners that are registered in the Itron Developer Program and that have products in any stage of development from proof of concept to pilot to production deployments. We’ll even consider solutions that are still in the ideation or development phase. The goal of the competition is to bring increased customer awareness to the innovation that our partners can bring to the table. If you're not already part of the Itron Developer Program, you can easily sign up here.
Entering the competition is free and is as easy as filling out a brief online form. Semifinalists will be selected from these entrants, at which point, the qualifying participants will be asked to create a brief pitch deck (~5 min) to present to our judges. Demos are permitted, but there is no requirement to demo a working product.
Partners are expected to leverage or integrate to some aspect of Itron technology (network, meter, back office, etc).
What do winners get?
Bragging rights! 😊 But seriously, winners of the competition will benefit from increased awareness of your solutions in the market and within Itron’s network customer base as well as with our marketing, sales and channel organizations. Winners will also be featured in an Itron press release, on our web site, and promoted during Itron Inspire, our premier customer event. Zpryme will also feature winners in a press release and marketing channels.
All finalists will also benefit from the feedback they receive from our panel of industry expert judges, which will enable them to tailor both their products and their pitches to utility and smart community customer audiences.
