10 to 11:15 a.m. - The Texas Challenge: Leading Cities Safely Through the Pandemic
Our kick off CityFest program invites Mayors from across Texas to discuss the challenge of leading cities through the pandemic of 2021, Winter Storm Uri, and continuing challenges to home rule from state elected leaders and the Texas Legislature. The 75 minute program moderated by Editor Robert Rivard invites audience questions and will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook. Featuring panelists:
- Mayor Steve Adler, City of Austin
- Mayor Oscar Leeser, City of El Paso
- Mayor Ron Nirenberg, City of San Antonio
- Mayor Mattie Parker, City of Fort Worth
Other programs include conversations about the spending of federal stimulus funds in our city and county, as well as developments around policing and mental health. Official programming times to be announced soon.

11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. - What's Next? 2021 San Antonio CityFest Luncheon featuring Char Miller and special guest moderator Henry Cisneros.

A recording of the program will be made available on YouTube following the in-person program. Attendees who register for the virtual programs only tickets will receive the link to the recording of this event.

On Friday we will feature a collaborative virtual panel discussion with San Antonio Startup Week on the future of innovation, technology and journalism. We will also feature another virtual program on the rapid growth of our city. Official programming times to be announced soon.
6:30 to 9 p.m. - CityFest: Poetry Night in the Park
Legacy Park, Downtown | 103 W Houston Street, San Antonio TX 78205
Join us for an evening of spoken word featuring 2nd Verse Poetry, in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Entertainment will begin at 7 p.m., so bring the family and enjoy music and poetry in harmony at Legacy Park.

8 to 10 a.m. - VIP Trailist bike tour led by Senior Enterprise Reporter Brendan Gibbons and Editor Robert Rivard. More details to be announced soon.
