In this session, Dresage will show you the different ways she uses to create a dynamic track through automation, creative sample processing and effective ear candy sprinkling. Get your production sweet tooth on!
What’s more unique than making music out of the sounds from your own sonic world? Using everyday items and pre-existing sonic spaces, you can create a unique palette of colors and textures that no other producer has access to. This session will focus on how you can spice up your sounds with field recordings.
While the LoFi vibe sounds easy and accessible to listeners, recreating it is a whole different story. Between nailing the cross-genre referencing to tastefully curating a nostalgic feeling, capturing that low-fidelity production is a uniquely creative process.

Before we even get started with exploring mixing techniques, we need to first talk about Technical Ear Training. It is crucial (and handy) to train your ears to not only identify frequency ranges, but also develop the right vocabulary to describe sound (aka … the issues). In this session, we will focus on how to develop core listening skills for mixing, and the tools to get these muscles in shape.
Is Spatial Audio the new stereo? I mean, we’ve heard the hype around it, but do we REALLY understand it? And more importantly, how can you, a songwriter, producer and/or content creator use it to take your music to the next level? After this session, not only will you have a solid understanding on Spatial Audio, but also on how to use it as a tool to explore a whole new dimension for your art. *wink wink* 3D *wink*
Do you know the difference between an Overdrive, Distortion, and a Saturator? In this masterclass, we will explore using these effects in unconventional ways! You will learn interesting techniques to thicken and add warmth to your sound using the appropriate FX.

From curating your setlist to strategically designing your transitions, how do you get the crowd moving? In this session, not only will our panelists share the different techniques and tricks that they use in their live shows, we will also explore the ultimate art of reading and reacting to the audience.
From studio to stage! We all love an exciting live rendition of our favorite songs, but how do we spice things up live while keeping the essence of the song? More importantly, how do we determine which parts to keep and which parts to skip? In this session, we will go through things that you would and could do live that may not be in the studio version and how to make those decisions.
It’s true! It’s not about the size, it’s how you use it. But aren’t we all curious about what the pros are using to elevate their production/ performance/ creative flow? In this session, we will look at our presenters’ set ups, and how you can reference their decks to optimize your own!
