Danielle and her team help revolutionary startups navigate the internal and external network of one of the fastest growing technology, media and innovation companies in the world. Envisioned through the eyes of 1500+ entrepreneurs around the globe, their programs engage companies in priority focus areas to bring new technologies, products and methods to Comcast NBCUniversal teams and customers. Their best-in-class Startup Engagement programs include learning environments (LIFT Labs PHL in Comcast Technology Center, The Farm ATL at The Battery, and virtual) that explore the latest trends and technologies with insights from top industry experts; seed stage accelerators for young companies in key focus areas; and LIFTOff, a pilot onramp for enterprise-ready startups solving top business challenges. A curious traveler and tech enthusasist, Danielle served as VP of Marketing & Communications for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau for more than a decade. As Executive on Loan to former Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, she served on the team behind the City’s Startup PHL seed fund. She’s a mentor, advisor and champion to a diverse group of tech founders, and as an entrepreneur co-founded three startups, including HOSPITALity (patient app), CNCT (connections app), and B.Ross (lifestyle brand).

Lesa Mitchell
Techstars Kansas City Accelerator, Managing Director

Lesa Mitchell is the Managing Director of the Techstars Kansas City Accelerator. Lesa’s career has included roles as a corporate executive, entrepreneur, and consultant to multinational corporations expanding their innovation footprints. For ten years, Lesa was VP Innovation & Networks at the Kauffman Foundation where she designed, implemented, and scaled models focused on initiating new markets and recovering markets in support of economic growth. Lesa is an advisor for Modern Meadow (NYC), CapLinked (LA), Neighborly (SF), Copia (SF). Lesa is a long time Sr. Fellow Milken Institute and is on the board of directors of the Althea Foundation in San Francisco.

Stephen Ajayi
YearOne, CEO

Stephen was a pre-med student before becoming a software engineer after attending a coding bootcamp. He is now the CEO of YearOne (Techstars '20), a platform that helps non-traditional/underrepresented individuals coming out of coding bootcamps land incredible jobs and supports them through their early careers in technology companies.

There’s a two-way knowledge sharing that happens when professionals of such different organizations come together. Mentors have a tangible impact on all types of entrepreneurs, from creative college students, to aspiring founders, to early-stage startups in our accelerators. In this panel and roundtable discussion, you will learn from all-star mentors who will dive into how to make the most of your mentor relationships.
