Chris Bottger started his career in BMS with Satchwell Control Systems, now part of Schneider Electric, driving innovations and executing global partnerships. Since then Chris has been part of the video collaboration industry at both the manufacturer and channel partner level. Now at Cisco responsible for Workplace Experience Strategy he has taken the Building Management, Video Collaboration and IoT networking foundation to create a Human Machine Interface (HMI) strategy that can drive users in real time us to improve Engagement and the overall Workplace Experience. The goal being for customers to help accelerate the rise of the agile team; improve talent retention and execute at the speed of a start-up but at scale.  All while optimizing the workplace, improving real-estate efficiencies, increasing wellness in a secure and scalable environment.

Kyle Bautista is Chief Operating Officer at Complexity Gaming, one of the longest-standing and most successful esports organizations in North America. In his role, Bautista oversees business operations for the team and acts as an advisor to the Complexity Board of Directors. Previously, Bautista served as General Manager for Complexity and was a part of the esports team at S2 Games and Frostburn Studios.

Bautista has been in the competitive gaming industry for over a decade. Prior to Complexity Gaming, Bautista competed at a professional level and worked as on-camera talent at esports events around the world.

Mance Harmon: Mance is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of strategic leadership experience in multi-national corporations, government agencies, and high-tech startups, and is Co-Founder and CEO of Hedera. His prior experience includes serving as the Head of Architecture and Labs at Ping Identity, Founder and CEO of two tech startups, the senior executive for product security at a $1.7B revenue organization, Program Manager for a very-large scale software program for the Missile Defense Agency, the Course Director for Cybersecurity at the US Air Force Academy, and research scientist in Machine Learning at Wright Laboratory. Mance received a MS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a BS in Computer Science from Mississippi State University.

Bryon Jacob is the CTO and co-founder of data.world - on a mission to build the world's most meaningful, collaborative, and abundant data resource. Bryon is a recognized leader in building large-scale consumer internet systems and an expert in data integration solutions.

Bryon's twenty years of academic and professional experience spans AI research at Case Western Reserve University, enterprise software at Trilogy, and consumer web experience at Amazon and most recently in ten years building HomeAway.com.  At HomeAway, Bryon oversaw platform development and the integration of thirty acquisitions while building the world's largest online marketplace for vacation rentals.

The University of Texas at Dallas Big Idea Competition at Global Entrepreneurship Week (BIC) is one of the most celebrated nights of entrepreneurship in North Texas. Keynoted by Mark Cuban and with $200,000 in scholarship awards and cash prizes, BIC is the marquee event of Capital Factory’s virtual Texas Startup Roadshow.

For fourteen years, this event recognized the entrepreneurial progress of UT Dallas students, faculty, and alumni. This year’s event has grown to include innovative research from the labs of UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Join us as we bring together the best undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines, alongside top research faculty and alumni, to pitch the most innovative startups and ideas to a panel of esteemed judges.
