Marie Fontenot
East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), Senior Director of Power Resources

Marie sets the procurement strategy for all wholesale power products and leads a team to execute this strategy, ensuring EBCE delivers upon its commitments to the Board of Directors and communities it serves to provide customers with clean, affordable electricity.  She also ensures EBCE complies with California’s renewable portfolio standard, resource adequacy and electric system reliability requirements. Prior to joining EBCE, Marie served as Chief of Staff to PG&E’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel; she also led PG&E’s Competitive Solicitations team, negotiated long-term energy storage and renewable energy contracts, and stood up PG&E’s renewable energy credit (REC) trading program.  She began her career in energy at Xcel Energy as a NERC-certified Power Systems Trader responsible for bidding supply and demand into the MISO and SPP energy markets, performing generation control and dispatch and trading physical electricity. Marie holds a BS in Journalism and MBA from the University of Colorado.

Michael Grasso
Sunnova, EVP & Chief Marketing Officer

Michael Grasso serves as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer focused on driving Sunnova’s mission to "Powering Energy Independence", managing the services portfolio, product strategy, business development, grid services initiatives, pricing, lead acquisition, brand and customer experience. Mr. Grasso previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of Sunrun Inc., a publicly traded provider of residential solar electricity, from 2014 to 2017 and as Chief Marketing Officer of TXU Energy Retail Company LLC, a provider of residential, commercial, and industrial electricity, from 2009 to 2014. Mr. Grasso held various executive and brand management roles at the United Services Automobile Association from 2007 to 2008 and at AT&T Inc. from 1992 to 2007. Mr. Grasso brings to Sunnova more than two decades of marketing experience with companies in the energy, financial services, internet, video and telecommunications industries. Mr. Grasso received his Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from Washington University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Applied Statistics from St. Mary’s University.

Caitlin Marquis
Advanced Energy Economy, Director

Caitlin Marquis serves as a technical and strategic expert across multiple initiatives at AEE. She leads the regulatory and legislative engagement of the Advanced Energy Buyers Group, a coalition of leading companies that are working to expand their use of advanced energy. Caitlin also supports AEE’s engagement on wholesale markets, with a particular focus on ISO-New England, as well as AEE’s efforts on federal carbon regulation and policy.

Arthur "Bud" Vos
Enbala, President and CEO

With more than 20 years of experience with distributed energy and start-ups, Bud Vos has in-depth experience with providing high-value software solutions. As president and CEO of Enbala, Bud is leading the company as it continues to expand its industry-leading Virtual Power Plant and DERMS solutions. Bud previously served as the COO of Simple Energy, a SaaS-based company that leverages data analytics to motivate utility customers to save energy. He was also senior vice president of utility sales and CTO of Comverge, a leading provider of integrated demand response, energy efficiency and customer engagement solutions. In addition, Bud was founder and vice president of engineering at Sixth Dimension, a provider of Internet-based control systems for demand response and distributed generation systems.
