Sarah is a nonprofit management and partnerships professional passionate about helping government most effectively serve its citizens. For the past 8 years, she's worked for organizations with a range of missions from ending world hunger to improving government data and transparency. As a Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Sarah is excited to help governments innovate while spurring economic growth in the technology sector. Sarah lives in Washington, DC, is originally from Rochester, NY (go Bills!), and received a bachelors degree from Wheaton College (IL).

CivStart, Co-Founder & Chief Impact Officer

As Chief Impact Officer, Nick brings a range of expertise in media, narrative, and visual communications strategy and tactics along with a familiarity with both local government and civic technology communities. He loves leveraging technology to help governments make the largest impacts with their communities.
