Shekwoduza (Duza) Baba, MA/MHS is an Epidemiologist at UnitedHealth Group responding to the COVID-19 pandemic since March 2020. His interests revolve around leveraging both the public sector and private sector capacities to address health and economic development challenges and has applied this to his work in pandemic preparedness and infectious disease epidemiology, increasing access to healthcare services, maternal and child health services, and health systems strengthening.
The COVID-19 Pandemic has compromised the world’s commitment to the 2030 Agenda for The Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 3 - Good Health & Wellbeing has risen to the top of priority goals for many. However, the interconnectedness of the goals has become even more apparent as we work towards recovery.
