Larry Yon is Senior Partner and COO of B&C International, the oldest minority-owned global business consulting firm in the United States. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and problem solver focused on identifying and developing business opportunities in North America and the continent of Africa. His instinctive approach to working through complex business, economic and social issues has been honed over the years helping influential leaders, families, and entities worldwide bring disruptive, game-changing ideas to life.
In his role, Larry is responsible for implementing internal strategy and overseeing client relationships. The deals he has played a lead role in identifying, negotiating and closing have globally resulted in the creation of thousands of jobs and millions in revenue that continue to exponentially grow. Under his strategic direction, B&C engages in a diversity of project types across a multitude of industries and geographies.
Larry’s philanthropic work is focused on improving the lives of all people. He has served on the Board of Commissioners for Durham Housing Authority, the Board of Visitors for the School of Business at North Carolina Central University, the Board of Directors of UDI Community Development Corporation, one of the oldest CDC’s in the United States, and the Advisory Board of Dream Academy (Botswana). With a breadth and depth of practical experience solving problems in various industries, he has been a contributing or feature speaker and panelists for NC State University, the City of Raleigh, the US Department of Commerce, MBDA – MED Week, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He has also written thought pieces on sustainability and diversity and inclusion for the NC Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA) and Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA).
Larry currently lives in Durham, NC with his wife and their three children.
