Paul Bauknight is the project implementation director at the Minneapolis Parks Foundation, a donor-supported nonprofit that envisions and executes transformative parks and public spaces by working closely with communities and public partners.

George Shannon

George Shannon is a son, brother, and father. Born in South Minneapolis. Raised in North Minneapolis. He brings ideas to life for a living. 

His vision is to expand the perception and possibilities of life in the Twin Cities especially in North Minneapolis. The mission is to help improve the economic status of Black Business owners in Twin Cities. 

His goal is to impact 10k Black owned business over the course of the next 10 years. By improving – sales, and brand awareness. The Black Market creates a space - introducing new ideas to the marketplace and also provides space for consumers to invest. 

He is also the Student Success coach at Hiawatha Academy Northrop middle school campus -Home of the Phoenix!
