Jamie is a legal executive with over 15 years of experience advising tech start-ups and mature organizations in commercial matters, intellectual property, corporate transactions, and regulatory compliance. She has guided fast-growing technology companies scale during periods of hyper-growth and several rounds of fundraising. Jamie is a competent business strategist, and trusted business partner. She can navigate complex issues involving both legal and business matters. Most recently, Jamie was VP of Legal for GitLab, an open core DevOps tool, where she was hired as the first legal counsel. At GitLab, Jamie built out the entire legal and compliance team and infrastructure, as well as supported the company as it scaled from 150 team members to over 1,200; and went through three rounds of capital fundraising totaling over $400M, resulting in a company valuation of $2.75B.
