Michael S. Kozak, MD received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, master's degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in South Bend. He is board certified in family medicine and currently practices at HealthLinc Centennial. In addition to providing broad spectrum care for adults and children, he also has special interest in the management of chronic disease and HIVcare. Outside of medicine, he enjoys wood-working, piano, and being outdoors, as well as spending time with his family and dog.

Regina Williams-Preston is a public school teacher and elected member of the South Bend Common Council who has been working and advocating for local community issues for over twenty years. As a community advocate and public official, she has: Stood with Honeywell workers and retirees to demand that Honeywell keep its promise of healthcare benefits for their retirees.

The current superintendent of South Bend Community School Corporation is Dr. C Todd Cummings. He was hired in 2019 to replace Dr. Kenneth Spells. Dr. Carole Schmidt, was the district's superintendent from 2011 to 2016. She replaced former superintendent James Kapsa who ran the district from 2008 to 2011. James Kapsa replaced Dr. Robert Zimmerman who was superintendent from 2006 to 2008. From 2001 to 2006 the superintendent was Dr. Joan Raymond.
