Paul Williams is the Vice President of Experiences & Professionally Installed Lighting for GE Lighting, a Savant company where he is charged with reimagining smart home products and services, as well as professional residential lighting solutions from one of America’s most trusted consumer brands. With a deep focus on the connected home and the company’s Cync™ brand, Paul leads the company’s growth category product management team, its go-to-market strategy, bold innovation and its external partner ecosystem to develop and enable new platforms for growth.
Paul brings more than 30 years of business operations leadership and hardware and software development within high-tech industries. This includes more than a decade of executive leadership at Control4, a manufacturer of home automation solutions, where he led the company’s global product management and research and development teams, supported the company’s merger and acquisition activity, delivered award-winning solutions and helped build the company from a start-up to an IPO with double-digit, year-over-year growth.
During his time at Control4, Paul also led high-profile hospitality projects, including organizing and outfitting the MGM City Center project in Las Vegas, at the time the largest privately funded construction project in US history, with controls platforms across both the Aria and the Mandarin Oriental. The hotels opened to acclaim as some of the most technologically advanced hotels in the world.
Prior to his deep leadership and operations roles at Control4, Paul held critical leadership positions and oversaw vast teams with a proven track record at Levelor/Kirch, a large-scale window covering operations and a Newell/Rubbermaid Company, Phobos/Sonicwall and in professional audio at Harman International.
