Selby is a serial entrepreneur, inventor and engineer with a passion for data-driven and automated systems. Previously, Selby co-founded ZIVA Robotics, a high growth robotics start-up based in Edinburgh, producing ruggedised data collection solutions - leading the commercial and operational efforts as CEO. ZIVA was recognised as Scotland’s Top AI Startup (2019) and was a finalist for Scottish Hardware Startup of the year (2020). Additionally, Selby was awarded a Royal Society of Edinburgh Enterprise Fellowship and the title of ‘Young Legend for Technology’ by Visit Scotland (2018). In his free time, Selby helps SME’s and startups to build value-driven products with lean operations.

In this session, I will share some of my hard-won lessons, tips and tricks to scale a startup on a budget. From project coordination and writing internal processes to commercial deal flow and fundraising management - everything is a system that needs to scale.
