Elizabeth Faust, MSN, CRNP, CSWS, CWOCN-AP, DAPWCA

Liz Faust is a Nurse Practitioner and Wound, Ostomy, and Continence specialist at Tower Health System in West Reading, PA. She graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with her MSN in Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2009. She is a Certified Skin and Wound Specialist (CSWS) and Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse, Advanced Practice (CWOCN-AP). Her role currently is to serve a seven-hospital health system administratively and clinically for wound, ostomy, and continence needs. Before this role, she also served as inpatient WOCN specialist for a 700+-bed level I trauma center, focusing care with the operating room, intensive care unit, trauma, and oncology units and served as a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient wound care center. She has a passion for education, particularly with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and pressure injury prevention and management. She has written several articles on NPWT. She has lectured nationally, in addition to facilitating Bioskills labs across the country. She also serves as the Vice President of the American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA), is a board member for the American Board of Wound Healing (ABWH), and is Treasurer of the local affiliate of the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society (WOCN).
